есть у меня раид5 в один террабайт. с утра просыпаюсь пищит. нигде не написано в мануале как ето дело ремонтить.. ребучу. в райд биосе – два райда. один диск улетел в один. остальные в другом. ффсе – брокен райд. блин… ковырялся ковырялся, нигде не написано как ето лечится. потер райд. создал снова.. грузится.. но е-кс-те-3 партишн не видит.. нету его. а файлы там. через “стрингз” видно. 
есть такая тулза “тестдиск”. тоже не видит. создаем партишн. так же как и раньше.. не моуниттся.. но тестдиск ето дело стал видеть, и файлы даже… е2фсцк задо увидел, и даже стал чего-то ремонтировать.. ремонтировал долго.. кучу фрее блоков нашел… пересоздал суперблок..и все вдруг замоунитлось.. и файлов битых – тока один. руки оторвать писателью мануала роккетрайд и всем хайпоинт. еше чтобы я их железо юзал…
ре: суппорт у них кстати очень даже ничего. не прошло у двух дней как ответили:
“Hello, The 1-disk array is likely the failed disk – this disk stoppedresponding at some point. Replace this disk – this will enable a rebuild option. If you believe this disk is fully functional, you can delete the”array” from this disk – the controller can then rebuild using the same drive. However, we would recommend using the “Continue to boot” option, then rebuild using with the Windows RAID utility (it will save time). Also, check and make sure the array is still accessible.”
Btw, Fyodor, what was the name of the software that we once used to retrieve data from corrupted/damaged discs/drives? I don’t know where, but I lost dvd with programs that you gave me.

you are right. It definitely needs to look more techy. Though I thought to concentrate more on the content of the site rather than the outer design. I will work on the outer design as well. Now your concrete suggestions would lead me a way!

Stellar Phoenix recovery suite is what we used, I think.
