New Jamboola project; Web2Block Directory

What is it?
To build the biggest web directory of the web-sites to be blocked at school or workplace, thus to become one of the most important resources for company/corporate/organization system or network administrators. It contains the list of the web-sites that must be blocked/filtered by them in order to prevent the employees/students/members from accessing restricted/blocked online resources. It is intended to be community driven project, so we need and hope for everyone’s support and contribution.

Next step: To divide the web-sites into W2B BlackList and W2B GreyList sub-directories.

BlackList will contain the sites that are abusive, pornographic, discriminative, racist, illegal, etc.

GreyList will contain the sites that are legal, but that are not encouraged to be accessed from the workplaces or other institutions.

Can you contribute as well? How?

We do NOT claim thatWeb2Block Directory list contains URLs of the blacklisted web-sites and we are NOT discouraging people from accessing these web-sites. The main purpose of this list is to help IT administrators of companies/organizations/institutions to quickly collect the list of the web-sites they should block in order to prevent misuse of internet resources and to support work efficiency at these places. If your site is listed here and you believe that it should be removed from Web2Block directory then send us email to info@jamboola.net or leave a comment here.
